Brian is entering his 14th season at Nashawtuc and 6th as the Head Golf Professional. Brian was elected to the PGA of America in 2009 and joined the Nashawtuc Country Club professional staff in 2011. He is a US Kids Certified Coach, Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coach and Level I Operation 36 Certified Coach. Brian came to golf from the financial industry and after working at Fidelity Investments for 10 years, he decided to change careers and pursue his passion for the game and, more specifically, teaching. Brian served as an assistant professional at the Gardner Municipal Golf Course, Oak Hill Country Club, Worcester Country Club and Oakley Country Club before arriving at Nashawtuc. When he is not on the driving range helping his students achieve their golfing goals he can often be found pursuing his own competitive ambitions. In addition to competing in numerous New England Open and Massachusetts Open Championships, Brian won the 2009 New England PGA Hudson Cup and qualified for the 2012 PGA Professional National Championship in Monterey, CA. Brian served on the Board of Directors of the New England PGA Assistants’ Association for 5 years and was elected President in 2010. Brian was also a New England PGA Section Teacher of the Year Nominee in 2011 and 2017. Brian’s passion for golf and people are what drive him every day.
