Nashawtuc, a Native American term meaning “between two rivers”, was designed by Geoffrey
Cornish in 1960. The club may be best recognized for having served as the venue for a prominent PGA Champions Tour event for 22 years. The event ended in 2008 after raising roughly $5 million for local organizations including Emerson Hospital, the Boys and Girls Club and Hanscom AFB Veteran families.

Allen Doyle set the tournament course record of 63 in the second round of the 2003 Champions Tour event. In 2008, Tom Kite matched Doyle's mark in his opening round. Chi Chi Rodriguez was the first to card a 63 and you will see his framed scorecard near the door as you exit the Arrowhead Pub leading to the first tee.
